Every year EFFoST is organizing an international conference on food science and technology. At this event all experts from scientists, policy makers to students will meet, share and debate about their latest results in food science and also about recent trends.
This year the conference was held is Sitges in Spain under the topic of “Food Science and Technology Challenges for the 21st Century – Research to Progress Society”.
Within the session “Innovative sustainable food processing”, Elea´s R&D Manager Claudia Siemer informed about “HACCP concept for industrial PEF treatment of juice”. After diverse and fruitful discussions, we were able to expand our network and to promote the interaction between academia and industry.
